The Fragrance Foundation appoints Linda G. Levy as President

The Fragrance Foundation has named Linda G. Levy President, effective September 5, 2017. Levy has played an integral part in the Foundation’s organization and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors. She recently worked with the Foundation on the innovative consumer Scent Event at Macy’s.

“I am honored to be the next President of The Fragrance Foundation,” said Levy.  “We are in an exciting phase of the Foundation’s evolution. The Foundation should become the go-to resource for all our members and across all fragrance consumers. We will share our collective expertise in order to nurture consumers’ love of their favorite brands and guide them to discover new cherished fragrances. Their shopping experience should be entertaining and enlightening. We will work together to that end.”

In her current role, Levy serves as the Omni Group Vice President, Divisional Merchandise Manager for Fragrances at Macy’s Inc. Levy is responsible for all aspects of the business in all Macy’s stores and on macys.com.

 

Levy joined Macy’s East in 2007 and has held various roles including Group Vice President/ Divisional Merchandise Manager for Cosmetics, Vice President of Marketing for Cosmetics and Fragrances and Vice President, Marketing Effectiveness and Direct Mail.

 

Prior to Macy’s, Levy held senior level management positions in the cosmetics and fragrance industry for nearly 20 years on the vendor side. Her career has included leadership roles both on a global and national level at some of the most prominent brands in the industry, including L’Oréal’s Lancôme USA, The Estée Lauder Companies and Wella/Procter & Gamble. Additionally, she has consulted at several companies including Shiseido and Coty.

 

Levy lives in New York City with her husband and is an active participant in the New York City arts scene and in various non-profit organizations.
