After last year’s resignation of executive vice president of marketing, Will Setliff, Kohl’s has finally found the successor to his responsibilities.
Greg Revelle will be assuming the role of chief marketing officer for the multi-billion-dollar company, having served as such for Best Buy Co. and Autonation previously. He will report directly to chief merchandising and customer officer, Michelle Gass.
“He is uniquely experienced in reaching customers in more relevant and personal ways. We are excited to have him lead our efforts in driving omnichannel traffic, building strong customer engagement and leveraging data-driven insights to create powerful customer interactions,” stated Gass. “Greg and the marketing team will elevate and accelerate our loyalty and personalization efforts….”
“In serving millions of families across the country, Kohl’s has deep connections with its customers,” Revelle stated in response, adding that the brand “is well positioned to be a leader in loyalty and personalized marketing.”
This new corporate shift for Kohl’s will hopefully garner bolstered results in the coming year, having dealt with the effect of online retail sites that have become a mainstay issue for many within the industry.
