Kylie Jenner’s popularity has only continued to rise as her presence on social media remains constant. This has been one of the biggest driving forces behind her brand Kylie Cosmetics, which continues to be wildly successful in association with her following over Instagram and Snapchat.
Fittingly, this is how Jenner decided to announce her upcoming collaboration with big sister Khloé’s Koko Kollection.
“How gorgeous is the Koko Kollection,” she exclaimed during a video on her Snapchat account. “This is by far one of my favorite projects. Khloe, you did such a good job.”
Showing off some of the featured products, the Koko Kollection offers four different products between three lipsticks and one lip gloss. The lipsticks consist of Gorg, a burgundy shade, Okurrr, a bright strawberry shade, and nude shade Khlo$$$$$. The single lip gloss, Damn Gina, is a shade of glittery pink. The entire offering will be packaged in shining gold tubes within a gold and white box.
Jenner posted pictures of the collection on her Instagram to rave reviews and anticipation from her following. She had also previously teased birthday-specific products this July, which sold out in short time upon release.
Being the first collaboration by Jenner’s brand, Laura Nelson, founder and president of their parent company Seed Beauty, spoke to WWD last month about the star’s ability to communicate with her fans and professionals alike.
“She is able to really communicate in an unfiltered way to her fans and her customers to make sure they are hearing from her what the product is and why she loves it. I find it remarkable the power that her direct voice can have with consumers,” Nelson stated.
The collection marks not only the first collaboration by the Kylie Cosmetics brand, but also Khloé Kardashian’s first beauty offering following her legal battle with licensee Haven Beauty over Kardashian Beauty. A judge sided with Khloé and sisters Kourtney and Kim in August, prompting the brand to cease production and distribution of the brand’s products. This new addition to her professional offerings brings positive hope that the court discrepancy can be left in the past.
The products in the Koko Kollection range in price between $40 and $66 and launches this coming Wednesday, November 9th.
