Stephane de La Faverie, Global Brand President, Estée Lauder Brand, today announced the appointment of two executives to the flagship Estée Lauder brand. Marie Han Silloway has been appointed Senior Vice President, Global Consumer Marketing, and Matthew Parr has been named Senior Vice President, Global Creative Director.
“Both Marie and Matthew are visionaries who will bring new perspectives to communicating and connecting with our consumers around the world, including unique, dynamic and disruptive experiences,” said Mr. de La Faverie. “I am thrilled to welcome them to the Estée Lauder brand.”
In a newly created position, Ms. Silloway, who will report to Mr. de La Faverie, will be responsible for developing advanced consumer marketing strategies and engagement capabilities that will further build Estée Lauder’s global consumer community. In this role, she will oversee Estée Lauder’s social and digital media, omnichannel, promotional, online and in store initiatives to ensure seamless consumer experiences across regions and channels.
Over the course of her career, Ms. Silloway has built her expertise in consumer marketing, retail and business management, first at advertising agencies such as Saatchi and Euro RSG and then through multiple senior positions she held at Coca-Cola, Starbucks, and most recently, Godiva.
Mr. Parr succeeds Richard Ferretti, who led Estée Lauder’s global creative efforts since 2011 and was recently named Global Creative Director at Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. Mr. Parr will lead all creative aspects of the Estée Lauder flagship brand, including aspirational visual communication across all touch points, including digital, social media, TV, print, packaging, visual merchandising and store design. Mr. Parr will report to Mr. de La Faverie and work closely with Aerin Lauder, Style and Image Director, Estee Lauder. He will also
have a matrix reporting line to John Demsey, Executive Vice President, Estée Lauder Companies, who leads the Company’s Creative Center for Excellence.
Mr. Parr served as Vice President, Global Creative at MAC Cosmetics for the last four years, where he continually created innovative digital, social and in store campaigns in MAC’s key regions and markets, seamlessly linking beauty, fashion, art and commerce. Prior to MAC Cosmetics, Mr. Parr held senior creative positions at Kate Spade, Jo Malone London and Laird & Partners.
