Called Dixie Highway, this Pre-fall / Summer 2018 Collection by Frederick Anderson, formerly of Douglas Hannant, was inspired by Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach.

Originally built to connect the south to the Midwest, it lands right across the bridge from Palm Beach and takes us from the southern most point of the US through the deepest south and all the way north to Chicago. Anderson stated he “concentrated my collection on the few miles of that stretch through West Palm Beach. On this street, lined with second hand stores, luxury antique stores, and the Palm Beach racetrack, you enjoy a history of wealth and culture told through the remnants of the extreme rich, now sold off and enjoyed by a group of people who can only observe privilege from across the bridge.” With a younger set descending on Palm Beach today, it’s becoming a hotbed of discovery. Anderson, himself, has found many treasures along its sidewalks.

His collection is a juxtaposition of a past and future and of how a new generation of the privileged set lives and dresses along the Dixie Highway.

The collection is available for pre-order on www.modaoperandi.com
