Adding yet another experienced mind to their company, Coty has announced the appointment of Sabine Chalmers to their Board of Directors. She will also join their audit and finance committees.
“I am delighted to welcome Sabine to the Coty Board,” chairman Bart Becht stated. “Her international experience as a senior leader in the global consumer goods industry will be a valuable addition to the broad range of experience already on our Board.”
Having worked for Anheuser-Busch since 2005, Chalmers has held many legal positions within the company. Being part of their Executive Board of Management, she was also their chief legal and corporate affairs officer as well.
During this timeframe, as well as working for Diageo plc. prior, her responsibilities have spanned across numerous countries throughout North America, Europe and Asia. This has included cross-border negotiations, some of the largest the world has seen, that should benefit her ability to contribute to Coty’s board in many ways.
Her legal tenure alone provides significant value, only further supplementing Coty’s decision to appoint Chalmers to her new position with the company.
