CEW Celebrates the Next Wave of Beauty Industry Leadership

Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) will recognize seven beauty industry leaders for their performance and potential at the 2017 Top Talent Awards event this evening.

The Top Talent Awards were created in 2014 to encourage and inspire mid-career women in the beauty industry. Recipients are nominated by members of CEW’s Board of Governors and industry leaders based upon the impact they’re having on their companies and the industry, and for their future leadership potential.

The honorees represent a broad cross-section of the industry:

Kristen Comings, VP, Integrated Consumer Communications, L’Oréal Paris;

Cindy Deily, Senior Director, Skincare Merchandising, Sephora;

Lauren Elias, Executive Director, North America Marketing, Tom Ford Beauty;

Dana Paris, Senior Director, Global Marketing for Vogue International – a Johnson & Johnson company;

Staci Pigna, VP, Sales, Southeast, Clarins Groupe USA;

Dalia Stoddard, VP, Product Development, Rodan + Fields; and

Megan Streeter, Chief Marketing Officer, DevaCurl.

About Kristen Comings, VP, Integrated Consumer Communications, L’Oréal Paris

Kristen Comings sets the vision for consumer marketing and strategy for the world’s largest global beauty brand. She is responsible for leading results-driven campaigns across the brand’s strategic pillars, philanthropy and core business categories. About Cindy Deily, Senior Director, Skincare Merchandising, Sephora

Cindy Deily serves as Sephora’s Senior Director of Merchandising for Skincare. In her 11 years with the company, she has been responsible for the development of multiple categories, including skincare, hair, bath & body and sun.

Since joining Sephora in 2006, Deily has helped advance Sephora’s skincare brand portfolio by nurturing brands from infancy to become top performers for North America. Examples include Drunk Elephant, Ole Henriksen, Sunday Riley and Tatcha. Deily has actively led industry-wide trend curation across skincare and hair, putting dry shampoos, masks, oils and naturals on the map alongside her brand partners, which are among the fastest growing for Sephora.

An accomplished merchant leader, Deily previously held roles at Cost Plus World Market, Restoration Hardware and DIESEL.

About Lauren Elias, Executive Director, North America Marketing, Tom Ford Beauty

Lauren Elias is a 14-year beauty industry veteran with broad experience across the Color, Fragrance, and Skincare categories as well as in multiple marketing disciplines, including Global, Regional and Digital at leading global cosmetics organizations including L’Oréal, Shiseido, LVMH and Estée Lauder.

In her current role, Elias leads the North America Marketing team driving sales and spearheading the development of Tom Ford Beauty’s 360 Go to Market strategy. During her tenure, sales have grown +30% annually, making it one of the fastest growing brands in the Estée Lauder portfolio. Lauren has launched and accelerated many of the brand’s digital and social initiatives including a Paid “always on” Social strategy, Search Engine Marketing, and Social Sampling piloting across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

Lauren’s team is on the leading edge, employing interactive retail experiences, including Virtual make-up technology, and has been effective at implementing 360 launch programs that incorporate social, influencers and early seeding.

About Dana Paris, Senior Director, Global Marketing for Vogue International – a Johnson & Johnson company

Dana Paris is the Sr. Director of Global Marketing at Vogue International a Johnson & Johnson Company. She joined Vogue International in 2014 as the Chief Marketing Officer and developed the global marketing vision and strategy for their portfolio of brands – OGX, Proganix and Maui Moisture.

She launched OGX Beauty’s first marketing campaign, #BadassHairDay, and transformed the brand to be focused on mobile and social, as well as influencer marketing. She was a key member of the management team that led the process of the sale of Vogue International to Johnson & Johnson in 2016 for $3.3 Billion.

She has worked in CPG Brand Strategy and Marketing for the past seventeen years with a

focus in Beauty. Prior to Vogue International, Dana was with L’Oréal USA for eight years in various Brand Marketing and Strategy roles. She has also worked in Brand Marketing for Kraft Foods, Hearst Magazines, and Hallmark Cards.

About Staci Pigna, VP, Sales, Southeast, Clarins Groupe USA

Staci Pigna is a talented, motivated, passionate leader that knows how to combat the ever-changing retail climate to get results and growth.

Her career began in the cosmetics industry in 1996 when she joined the “Burdines” (Macy’s) Dadeland Florida Team. Her areas of expertise include more than 20 years of strong professional background in sales, strategic planning, training, and management duties.

In the past seven years, as part of the Clarins Team she worked to help create sales strategies and establish strong partnerships with retail leadership. Staci works closely with all departments to elevate the brand image and meet consumer’s needs.

About Dalia Stoddard, VP, Product Development, Rodan + Fields

With over 20 years in the beauty industry, Dalia Stoddard has a proven track record for developing and launching ground-breaking products in skincare and cosmetics.

Her beauty career began at Neutrogena, where she managed Facial Treatment and Suncare brands, before creating Neutrogena Cosmetics, a 90-SKU collection with $100M in year 1 sales in the mass market. She also worked for OPI Inc., where she was responsible for all brand marketing activities, and Graham Webb International, where she launched over 90 cosmetics and skincare SKUs for the professional haircare brand.

Joining as Director, Product Development & Marketing in 2009, Stoddard helped build Rodan + Fields into the number one skincare brand in the US in 2016 and the fastest growing skincare brand in the US over the last 6 years (Euromonitor*). As Vice President of Product Development, Dalia is responsible for overseeing all Global Product Development and Innovation, Quality Assurance, Global Regulatory, Packaging, and Product Engineering.

About Megan Streeter, Chief Marketing Officer, DevaCurl

A beauty industry veteran with over 15 years of experience with world-class organizations including L’Oréal, Estée Lauder, Avon, and now the Tengram private equity funded, DevaCurl. Megan Streeter is a visionary leader who exudes confidence and optimism. With her experience in all beauty categories in both Global and U.S. brand marketing capacities have led her to take on the curl universe in Haircare with DevaCurl.

As Chief Marketing Officer, Megan leads an integrated team of Marketing, Product Development, Creative, Digital, Public Relations, and Social Media. In just a little over two years, she has been a driving force behind DevaCurl’s double-digit growth with its entire relaunch of the brand and new-to-market innovation. Megan is a dynamic and talented trailblazer known for her deep passion, intense drive and inspiring leadership.
