On Wednesday, April 12, Anne Hearst McInerney and Jay McInerney hosted a cocktail reception at Doubles in New York City to celebrate Amanda Hearst’s luxury ethical fashion website, MAISON-DE-MODE.COM, which she co-founded with Hassan Pierre.
Guests who came to shop included Diandra Douglas and Paolo Oliveira, Deborah Norville and Karl Wellner, Ann Dexter Jones, Milly de Cabrol, Bettina Zilkha, Kerry Kennedy, Tara and Michael Rockefeller, Allison Rockefeller, Jennifer Creel, Teresa Melhado, Katharina Otto- Bernstein and Nathan Bernstein, Liliana Cavendish, Margo Langenberg and Dana Hammond Stubgen.
MAISON-DE-MODE.COM provides fashion lovers with a one-stop shop for the ultimate luxury ethical closet. The site sells bags, ready-to-wear, shoes, sunglasses. Ten of the fine jewelry brands sold on the site displayed and sold their wares at the party.
Luigi Tadini, Sharon Bush, skin care guru Peter Thomas Roth, Peggy Siegal, Sylvia Mazzola, Jeanne Lawrence, Jay and Tracy Snyder, interior designer Alex Papachristidis and Scott Nelson, Margo Catsimatidis, Avenue Magazine’s Michael Gross and wife Barbara Hodes, choreographer Liz Gerring, Diane Tuft, Nicole Sexton, Robert Zimmerman, Mark Gilbertson, and R. Couri Hay all came out to toast the website, along with our own contributing editors, Tyler Stafford and Jacqueline Kent Cooke.
To celebrate Earth Month, Bloomingdale’s is launching MAISON-DE-MODE.COM pop-up shops in their 59th Street and Soho locations, with a portion of the net proceeds to go to the Nest Foundation.
