How do you know if you’re using the greatest shampoos, lipsticks, scrubs, and moisturizers ever to grace this earth? Look no further than the 2017 Allure “Best of Beauty” Award winners! Allure editors spent months testing—and testing—more than 9,000 products to narrow them down to the 283 products that can officially call themselves the Best of Beauty this year. From the Best Steals to Big Breakthroughs, plus the best in hair, nails, skin, eyes, body, scent and more, the 2017 Award winners were revealed for an intimate group on Monday night, and can all be viewed HERE.
Allure also unveiled the Allure Beauty Assistant, a mobile chatbot that provides users with personalized and guided recommendations to help navigate through the 2017 Allure Best of Beauty Award-winning products – all 283 of them! – to find the products that are right for their specific beauty interests/concerns.
Also new for 2017, Allure has teamed with Ulta Beauty—which carries more Allure Best of Beauty Award-winners than any other retailer—to launch “Shop Like a Beauty Editor.” Allure has created “Shop Like a Beauty Editor” booklets (see cover image attached) that will be included in the October Issue of Allure and available for shoppers in 1,005 ULTA stores nationwide. In the booklets, seven Allure editors—each with a different beauty look, style, personality, and interests—highlight their personal favorite 2017 Best of Beauty Award winners available at ULTA stores. They also feature tips and tricks to achieve their look and/or solve a beauty challenge, allowing readers to match their beauty persona with an Allure editor and also get a peek into their life and beauty routine. The 8-page digest-sized booklets will serve as a guide to the Best of Beauty products available in the store, and help shoppers identify which products from this year’s list of winners are best for them.
